Dual Boot with WUBI (LINUX) | Boot Loader Menu Timeout Too Fast
I recently set up my computer with Win7x64 as primary OS and a Linux co-existing as a WUBI install. My Windows Installation is perfectly intact, but I made the mistake of setting the Boot Loader Menu timeout to 0 and set the Ubuntu OS as default. Now I am unable to select my Windows 7 partition for boot up, even if I force Grub to go back to Win7's boot loader screen. How do I fix this? If I can fix it without using the Win7 installation media, all the better! Thank you very much.

Hi, We need a CMD prompt, if you cannot boot into system recover console by pressing F8, so we need Windows installation disc to access System Recover Console, and select the Command Prompt. Then type the following command: C:\Windows\System32>bcdedit /timeout 15 I suppose Windows 7 drive is C. Meanwhile, you may find method to achieve this in Ubuntu system, it is also recommended to post at Ubuntu forum for another workaround: Ubuntu Forums Note: Microsoft provides third-party contact information to help you find technical support.
